Peter Hum – piano Nathan Cepelinski – saxophones Mike Rud – guitar Alec Walkington – bass Ted Warren - drums Join Ottawa pianist Peter Hum for the release of his debut recording, A Boy's Journey. The disc, which was made possible by a grant from the City of Ottawa's Arts Funding Program, showcases 10 original compositions that affirm a contemporary brand of jazz lyricism. Featured on the disc saxophonists Kenji Omae and Nathan Cepelinski, bassist Alec Walkington and drummer Ted Warren – all long-time friends of Peter as well as renowned Canadian jazz talents known for their vivid, personal playing. At Cafe Paradiso, Montreal guitarist Mike Rud will be substituting for Kenji -- an Ottawa-raised saxophonist who is based in Seoul, South Korea.
