Gerard Van Herk - Toronto Rockabilly Trash
Record Release - Martian Kiss
Gerard Van Herk was the singer and guitarist of legendary Montreal “sludgeabilly” duo DEJA VOODOO (1981-89). In 2024, after 35 years out of music, he recorded the “Shot of Blood” EP (Voodoo Rhythm) with rockabilly wildman Bloodshot Bill. That encouraged him to write and record over 40 new songs, mostly low-fi garage-rock-blues-punk. For this live performance, Gerard & Bloodshot Bill, will join forces to deliver trashy tunes straight from a rotten crypt plus they’ll be digging up classics from the Deja Voodoo catalogue.
Eddie Gazel - Paris/Ottawa Rockabilly
Eddie Gazel is originally from Paris and has toured all across Europe and Australia for the past 15 years. Famous for his soulful and emotive rock-n’-roll stylings, Eddie has played for over 10 years in the Europe-wide classic Rockabilly trio “Eddie and the Headstarts https://www.instagram.com/eddiegazel
