The North Sound, formed in 2014 by lead singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Forrest Eaglespeaker and his partner Nevada Freistadt, who composes and provides vocal harmonies, is coming to the NAC with songs from their upcoming new album!
Keeping true to the traditions of Forrest’s heritage, The North Sound was created to share stories of Forrest's Blackfoot identity and traditions from Treaty 7 Territory. With a no-holds-barred approach to songwriting, Forrest’s lyrics span haunting metaphors from everyday experiences to personal realities.

Fidèle à ses traditions, Forrest Eaglespeaker fonde The North Sound pour distiller des histoires sur son identité (Nation des Pieds-Noirs) et les traditions du territoire du Traité n˚ 7. N’ayant pas froid aux yeux, il partage dans ses textes ses expériences quotidiennes et ses réalités personnelles à grand renfort de métaphores envoûtantes.
