Parlour Panther (Vancouver) possesses an irresistible charm, captivating listeners with their chemistry and leaving a lasting impact through their genuine emotional expression and exceptional vocal and guitar skills. Frankie and Reidar, a trans non-binary couple, have been creating music together for 10 years and this enchanting indie rock band is one to watch. They made a splash in the Vancouver music scene with their debut album "Hot Magic" in 2018, showcasing their distinct and bold sound. Following the success of their first release, they recorded their second album, "Retrograde," entirely in their home studio during the pandemic. This album, released on Coax Records in August 2021, received high praise from critics. Now, Parlour Panther is embarking on a new musical journey with their upcoming album BLOOM, collaborating with Jen, Saadi, Monarch and Blue Light studios, which marks a departure from their previous work.

Annie Martel is a Canadian singer-songwriter and one of Ottawa’s jewels. Martel’s sincere, contemplative songs are anointed by her unequivocal voice and thoughtful musical style. Her sound is driven by warm, dark tones: aged guitar strings, dusty piano, and velvet vocals. It evokes the soft nostalgia of fuzzy, black and white film clips; ones we want to replay over and over until morning. Martel has a special way of engaging with difficult, complex human themes through her music, and has harnessed this ability throughout her life, finding healing and release through the magic of music and songwriting. By sharing her songs she offers her listeners the same opportunity for reflection, connection, and healing.
