Join the Canadian Spaces hosting collective at Irene's Pub in Ottawa from 10 to noon on Saturday morning, October 7 for a live video and radio broadcast to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Canada's longest running folk/roots radio program...Canadian Spaces on CKCU!

The entire two-hour show will consist of live interviews and performances featuring an impressive array of folk/roots musicians. Confirmed musical guests include Willow & The Deep, C.A & Sonny, Ray Harris, Tom Lips and Rachel Beausoleil, with more performers to be added soon. Chris White and other members of the Canadian Spaces hosting collective will be on hand to facilitate the festivities.

All 'Space Cadets' and members of the public are cordially invited to be part of the 'studio audience' at Irene's. Food and beverage service will be available.

Canadian Spaces on CKCU FM is Canada's longest-running folk/roots radio show, founded in 1980 by the late Chopper McKinnon (1946-2013). The show is now produced and hosted by a Canadian Spaces hosting collective consisting of Anne-Marie Brugger, Carolyn Sutherland, Chris White, Gord Peeling, Kate Greenland, Ray Harris and Teresa Bandrowska.
