Booty EP (VAN dream pop)

Booty EP is a Vancouver based duo inviting you on a dreamy time through their wonderland of sounds and visuals. Francis Hooper (synth, guitar, vocals) and Alli Deleo (keys, vocals) blend sampled hip-hoppy beats with a wash of electronic instruments and cozy guitar.

They have curated / filmed / edited beat sync’d projection visuals that accompany each song, reflecting the sometimes quirky themes and stimulating contrasts.

Their debut EP "What, what and the who now?" was released on May 4, 2018. The duo also run a small performance and recording venue dubbed the Juniper Room in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

An off-shoot of Ottawa art-rock collective Pony Girl, mal/aimé take the band's experimental chamber sound and run with it, combining clarinet, guitars, and percussion with synths, drones and electronics. As a recording project, the trio's output focuses primarily on etudes that experiment with short moments in time, unbound by the structural rules of their live performance.
