ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH No 462 TO HELP VETERANS, THEIR WIVES, FAMILIES OR WIDOWS IN NEED
For 14 consecutive years, a benefit concert has been organized for Veterans in conjunction with the Canadian Legion Eastview Branch No 462.
Our main purpose for putting together this annual event is to raise funds for Veterans, their wives, families or widows to assist in the purchase of winter clothing, eye glasses, canes, service dogs, etc...; and secondly to raise awareness among a younger generation and provide a link within the community for all.
The 14th Annual Remembrance Day Canadian Legion Benefit Show(s) will be held at Dominion Tavern on Saturday, November 11th with doors opening at 8 pm. This year’s entertainment will feature The Sons of Scotland Pipe and Drum Band, Honour Guard, Society, and Slackjaw. In addition to what we take in from donations at the door, we also have fundraising auctions and raffle prizes donated from local businesses with all proceeds going to our worthy cause.
