Geoff Berner
Singer / songwriter / accordionist / novelist Geoff Berner's music combines klezmer, punk, political satire and Balkan dance rhythms. He writes sharp, literate songs that make you want to weep, laugh, grind your teeth, or kick out a window - often all at the same time. Berner has built a serious cult following throughout North America and Europe by touring relentlessly through thousands of bars, cafés and festivals. With his weirdly compelling stage presence, he has a strange ability to create fun chaos.

Orkestar Kriminal
Ganovim-loshn" ("thieves' language") was the Yiddish sung in the inter-war underworld of Warsaw, Odessa and Istanbul. These are no ordinary folk songs. There is much violence, and lament to them... the extremes of the jewish wise-guy. Along with their Yiddish gangster repertoire, Orkestar Kriminal has absorbed the Rebetika Mortika hash den anthems of the 1930s Greek underground. They can also be found performing Mexican tequila-smuggling songs, Russian prisoner laments, and Cambodian disco. So long as the tune is catchy and a little shady, they'll give it their best shot!
