Returning after a three year absence, IMOO Fest 2018 will present three days of jazz and improvised music at multiple venues across Ottawa. Featuring many of the top names from the Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto improvised music communities, IMOO is also very happy to present Tokyo’s Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura as our featured “artists in residence” for the weekend.

IMOO Fest will open with a triple bill at General Assembly on Friday September 21st before shifting to Gigspace on Saturday and Sunday (September 22nd and 23rd) with four sets of music each evening. A Sunday afternoon matinee will also be offered at The Record Centre. See the full schedule below.

Tickets

A limited number of 3-day passes are available for $75, which includes admission to all shows at General Assembly and Gigspace. Single day tickets are also available for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings. The Sunday afternoon matinee at The Record Centre is a “Pay What You Can” event, with donations accepted at the door.
