Chris White is leading a free, fun, all-ages community sing-along session in Strathcona Park on Saturday afternoon, June 2 at 2:00 pm as part of the "100in1Day" festival -- see http://www.100in1day.org/events/5b05c6cf9e60d5000485dbbd. All ages and abilities are welcome to attend this free community event to sing along or just listen. The song list will include favourites such as "Country Roads", "Farewell to Nova Scotia", "Forever Young", "Circle of Song", "Jamaica Farewell", "King of the Road" and "Lean on Me".
This session is part of "100in1Day", an annual international initiative where citizens create free community activities on the same day just for fun. The concept was started by a group of students in Brazil in 2012, and has now spread to 40 cities in various countries.
