Dance to the big band sounds of the Ottawa New Horizons Jazz Band “Two Beats Ahead”, in support of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Presented by Manotick Veterinary Hospital and Orchard View Wedding & Event Centre.

Meet future guide dogs at 7:30pm, and dance and enjoy the music starting at 8:00pm.

About Two Beats Ahead:
Two Beats Ahead Jazz Band is set up with the same instrumentation as a big band from the 1940’s; the band features saxophones, trombones, trumpets and a full rhythm section. The band’s repertoire consists of everything from classic stands such as “All of Me” to modern day examples like “Suit and Tie.” Two Beats Ahead is under the direction of Band Leader Jean-Francois Fauteux.

About Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind:
Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind was established as a registered charity in 1984. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind has provided more than 830 professionally trained guide dogs to Canadians who are visually impaired from coast to coast. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind also operates an Assistance Dogs Division, which trains assistance dogs for individuals in the Ottawa area with mobility-related disabilities.
