To chime in the winter holidays, the series returns with Joni Mitchell’s 1971 masterpiece Blue.

Critically-acclaimed upon its release, Mitchell's fourth album weaved her idiosyncratic folk, with unconventional instrumentation, wild melodies, and hints of her impending explorations into free jazz. Anchored by heavy classics River, California, and A Case of You, The New York Times chose Blue as one of the 25 albums that represented "turning points and pinnacles in 20th-century popular music".

The brainchild of indie troubadour Jon Hynes, the series brings together notable independent musicians to pay tribute to classic albums and legendary artists. Past events have included The Strokes Is This It, Fleetwood Mac Rumours, Talking Heads, David Bowie, Black Sabbath Paranoid, and more!
