Walrus:
Walrus is comprised of four members channeling their inner psychedelia, with songs that range from trance to surf. Their music will adhere to all levels of inebriation or consciousness. Walrus takes you swiftly into a dream you’ll nd yourself never wanting to wake up from. Goo goo ga’joob.
“The band somehow mix gentle, Brian Wilson vocal melodies and orchestrations with out-of-the- blue punk thrash parts that keep listeners guessing. The high, winsome vocals and chiming 12- string Rickenbacker certainly conjured late ‘60s cloudy folk- pop, but the rest of the band infused the songs with sharp edges. Some of it recalled the Sadies, and the musicians in Walrus are certainly in the same league.”

WHOOP-Szo:
Renowned for their cross-genre experimentalism, unabashedly unique, WHOOP-Szo is a wild fusion of folk, metal, pop, grunge, and even classical musical stylings. Though radically diverse in tone, WHOOP-Szo has crafted their many sounds well, and are able to create immersive musical tapestries that evoke deep emotions while conveying troubling stories of civil unrest via layered harmonies, churning guitar, gritty synth, and a whole psychedelic plethora of other noise.

Floating in and out of dreams and dances with sidewalks and skylines. Shadowhand is folk songs sang with a ghost-like soul.Starting as a recording project in the fall of 2016, members of Lost To The River, How Far To Mexico, and Winchester Warm join to make this new Ottawa band. Debut EP coming soon.
