Dr. Steven High, Canada Research Chair in Public History from Concordia University, will present a special lecture at Carleton University as part of the Underhill Graduate Student Colloquium.
The talk entitled What Makes Public History Different? Oral History, Memoryscapes and Mobile Methodologies will take place on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Humanities Lecture Theatre, Paterson Hall, Room 303.
The colloquium is named in honour of Dr. Frank H. Underhill, a renowned intellectual historian and social critic. The Underhill Endowment Fund, inaugurated after Dr. Underhill's death in 1971, funds the history department's Underhill Reading Room and provides support for special projects, such as the Underhill Graduate Student Colloquium.
