Transgender Day Of Remembrance - Ottawa 2018
6:00 PM on Tuesday Nov. 20th, 2018
Canadian Tribute To Human Rights, 220 Elgin St.

We recognize and acknowledge that this vigil takes place on unceded and unsurrendered Algonquin territory.

The Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to memorialize those who's lives were taken as a result of transphobia and to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the Two-Spirit, trans, and gender diverse communities.

A vigil will be held at the Canadian Tribute to Human Rights to remember those we have lost and to hold them in our thoughts. Following the vigil, a community gathering will be held at the Lord Elgin where snacks and warm drinks will be provided.
