Join us Wednesday, November 21, at the Shaw Centre as our Keynote Speaker Chef Jay Barnard shares his story of hope and recovery. Chef Barnard, a.k.a. Chef Recovery, was once an addict so out of control that he and many others had lost hope. Struggling with serious addictions, his life was headed in the wrong direction until his road led him to The Salvation Army. Through the support of the Anchorage program at Ottawa Booth Centre, Jay began his journey to recovery. A decade later and celebrating ten years of sobriety, Jay is a successful Executive Chef out of Kenora, Ontario, running his own company, Freshwater Cuisine.
