Celluloid Dreamz, An IFCO Fundraiser (Independent Filmmakers Co-operative of Ottawa Inc.)
6:00 PM on Saturday Jun. 29th, 2019
Ottawa Art Gallery - Alma Duncan Salon, 50 Mackenzie King Bridge / 10 Daly Ave.
Price: $15 at the door

Join us for this special one-time screening of films that celebrate the beauty and bliss of storytelling, and the power we all possess to become our own storytellers.

The Independent Filmmakers Co-operative of Ottawa Inc. (IFCO) will be hosting a one-time screening of new Super 8mm and 16mm short films as part of "CELLULOID DREAMZ" - their annual filmmakers' showcase.

"CELLULOID DREAMZ" brings to the screen all of the hard work, efforts and dreams that go into making a film. Local filmmakers, who by the way are generally representative of 'every person' within the broader Ottawa community, set aside their note books/ suits, studies, day to day drudgery etcetera, to embrace their inner filmmaker because of their love of storytelling. Through their passion and need to create, these writers, and filmmakers take us on various filmic journeys.

Tickets are $15 at the door. Proceeds from the screening benefit various IFCO activities, which are designed to encourage and support the ongoing development of especially local filmmaking talent.

After the screening, you'll have a great opportunity to mix and mingle with some of the filmmakers at the after-party at The Albion Rooms - located at (#33 Nicholas St.). The Albion Rooms offers an exquisite menu with a varied selection, so there'll definitely be some delicious eats and bites.

"Celluloid Dreamz" could not have been made possible without the support of the following:

- ByWard Market BIA - ByWard Market is home to over 600 unique\shops, restaurants, personal services. This is the heart of Ottawa!
