Keemooch (Film shoot)
November 24-25, 2018
SAW Video Hub Space - Arts Court, 2 Daly Ave.

“Keemooch” is an Ojibwe word that means secret, sly, or on the down low.

Keemooch is a film project on the theme of Indigenous love. This event is an open invite for Indigenous community members to participate in this film.

Specifically, we are looking for couples to kiss on camera and to answer a few questions about love. This should only take 5 to 10 minutes of your time.

It is open to straight and GLBTQ2S people. It is open to Indigenous, and mixed indigenous/non-Indigenous couples, all stages and types of romantic relationships. It is open to ages 18+.

This project will result in a short 5 to 10-minute film. The goal is to challenge stereotypes and to show the diversity and beauty of our relationships.

Participation is on a drop-in basis on the shoot dates listed below!

Saturday, November 24, 3pm to 8pm
Sunday, November 25, 2pm to 5pm

There will be snacks onsite and thank you gifts for everyone that participates. This is a grassroots independent project and has not been funded by any grant. Special thanks to SAW Video for the access to equipment and space.

Chi-Miigwech,
