Cocoa's Show

This is an abbreviated episode of InsomniaBuzz - only two hours long (the show starts in about the third hour of the ondemand stream). The first sad truth is that I was three full hours late to the studio thanks to failing to wake up for the show start time of 2am. The second sad truth is that my exhaustion was derived directly from the fact that my cat of 18 years, Cocoa, passed away today. I'm therefore calling the show "Cocoa's Show" and putting together a variety of artists that I would play when I was out of the house for extended periods of time, just to keep the old girl happy. Much respect and thanks to What's The Frequency's Kevin O'Meara and his partner in crime Cory Steel for covering for my show for three solid hours - a total of five when you include his show prior to InsomniaBuzz - playing 79 tracks of punk and proto-punk over that five hour period. Hats off to both Kevin and Cory for going above and beyond - the true spirit of radio here at CKCU 93.1 FM. Lots of love to little Cocoa, my companion of 18 years. May you soar above the stars and skies, my beautiful friend. I'll miss you.
