A sweet summer night to play some seductive lovers for you tonight. A perfect evening.. not to hot and not to cold.. just right for whatever you are doing. How can you have a "lovers night" and not include these voices... featuring, Boris Gardiner (the Gentleman), some Ruddy Thomas, the voice of the late great Eddie Lovette. And in addition, reggae versions of "Now And Forever", Teddy Pendergrass's "Come And Go With Me" and a classic from our friend D-Major with "I Can't Make You Love Me". Branching out during the weather segment to some soul with the Jackson 5 and "Who's Loving You" and Lionel for a special listener and Gladys Knight and the Pips with, "Neither One Of Us". Garnet Challenger followed up this set with a beautiful peace of music, a duet called, "So, I Will" and so, I do.. think this is a classic tune that you will hear again on this show... from the album "Babylon System Is Falling" a hot new release. The IM was on fire this week. I must apologize for the lack of requests played on the show, there were some technical difficulties that made some things impossible. I apparently have secured some sort of date from this show.. so I am assuming you enjoyed the show. :-) But seriously, I do hope you will make a date with Vintage Love and with me, next Saturday night at 10pm. I will pick you up at 93.1 and we can head to that place called FM. There we can chill and dance the night away as we wish. Thank you for tuning in everyone. Thanks....I love those tunes too. Songs you don't hear very much on the radio anymore...why....I just dont understand. Anyway, we will do our best to keep the old classics alive for as long as we can. The world has so much great music...its a shame not to go back and rewind those songs that open the flood gates of our memories.
