The annual Mothers Day Eve special presentation of the Vintage Love show on The Mighty CKCU 93.1FM Dedicated to all the moms who spent the time caring for, teaching, disciplining and overall helping to develop us into better adults than we would have been otherwise. No ones perfect.. but you know what I mean. :-) I remember as a child... my parents taking us out for ice cream at Avondales in the Niagara region. It was at that time in life, one of the most exciting things as my brothers and I salivated allll the way to the store, for that sweet succulent ice cream the way only Avondales used to make. Ice cream dripping down your hand and arm, ice cream on your nose and cheek a la George at the US Open... ahh.. great memories. So to all of you moms who really did the best to raise good people.. all the while sacrificing yourself... and of course to the village of other women who assisted and/or took over depending on the need. I raise this.... 'my precioussss'.. cup of ice cream, strawberries, whip cream and nuts... (you can take out whatever you might be allergic too)... to you! One Sundae to rule them all! Thank you for loving me, you and us all. Special mention and dedication to the moms who came, conquered and passed. You live on in those of us left behind. We appreciate you choosing Vintage Love tonight and On Demand.
