Foreshadowing was the instrumental intro track for the show tonight, "Best By Request" by Jackie Mittoo. This show was taken over by the request line. With requests for UB40, Bitty Mclean, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Phyllis Dillon, Ras Lee, Noddy Virtue & Jodian Pantry with a wicked verion of "Bed Of Roses". Continuing on with requests was Dawn Penn with a classic tune, "First Cut Is The Deepest". Back into Soul and R&B with a request for some Lionel Richie and then ending off the show with a Beres tune and a feelign I echo.. I wish I could play some more when the clock seems to strike midnight too quickly signifying the end of the show... especially with the requests piling up.
