We open the show in conversation with Lefty McRighty talking about some new songs he's just released on Bandcamp and about a very cool concert he's part of on Saturday, March 9th at House of Targ. Lefty is a one-man band and he will be performing on a bill with three other one-man bands that night, including: Jon Cohen Experimental, Mississippi Grover and Snowheel Slim. We talk about Lefty's approach to making music, how he recorded the new songs live off the floor and and what to expect next Saturday, March 9th when these one-man bands get together at House of Targ. We talk to vocalist/keyboardist Sage McBride about the album Blurry Vision, which the group release in late October of 2023. The band's sixth album was impacted by the pandemic and many of the songs touch upon themes like the value of connecting with others, community and taking a break from the hectic nature of modern life. We also talk about touring with their young daughter and how the live set has evolved over the years.
