Today we talk to and feature the music of two artists you can see performing in Ottawa over the next two weekends. First up we check in with Rich Aucoin, just as he was preparing to go on stage in Houston, Texas earlier this week. Rich will be in Ottawa for an over-the-top full-band concert at Club SAW on Friday, March 18th. We talk to Rich about how much work he puts into preparing for each and every concert he does - they all have local elements that he puts together in the days or hours leading up to the gig. His shows are interactive and truly engaging. In essence, Rich builds a community with his concerts every night. We talk about how and why he does that and how much happier he is to be back on the road again. We also talk about why he released a deluxe edition of his album United States with remixes and instrumental versions of the songs.
