We open the show today talking to Scott Bradshaw about the recent reissuing of albums he recorded and released with his band Scott B Sympathy back in 1989/1990 and in 1992. The albums in question, Neil Yonge Street and Drinking With The Poet were very popular here at CKCU-FM when they were released. We talk to Scott about revisiting these albums 30 years later and how he reflects on them. We also hear about the Queen Street scene in Toronto back in the 80s and 90s when it was a hotbed of new, alternative sounds on the Canadian scene. We hear about how Ian recorded this album during a pandemic and how some of the songs reflect the times we are living through. We also talk about how geography and places are an integral part of Ian's songs and how he recorded the voices of children for a very poignant song on the album.
