Amazing new releases featured today - including some timely and thought-provoking musical sound collages documenting the Black Lives Matter movement and protests against the murder of Black people at the hands of police officers

Unfortunately no interviews today. Instead we feature some amazing new releases that I picked up from Bandcamp on Friday, July 3.... including some powerful music I stumbled upon accidently on the site. The really powerful music in the middle of the show is documenting the ongoing struggle of Black communities in the United States against oppression and in particular against police forces that continue to murder Black people with alarming frequency. While these pieces are reflecting the situation in the USA, don't get too smug Canadians as we have our own systemic oppression of Indigenous, Black and other marginalized communities right here north of the 49th parallel.
