First up thanks to Bob LeDrew for doing such an awesome interview with Too Many Zooz while I was stuck in wild Ottawa traffic. Fortunately Bob knows and enjoys the music of Too Many Zooz... sometimes things just work out!! Bob talks to them about how they honed their jazz and performance chops busking in the New York Subways. He is appearing on the same bill with Too Many Zooz at the 27 Club tonight. We talk about his new album, the self-titled Cadence Weapon which is his first album in 6 years. Cadence talks about how different written works end up in his poetry collection and how others end up being raps for songs. He also talks about overcoming some elements of his rap "image" and how with this new recording he really wants to strike out with a fresh and focussed image.
