Interviews with Shred Kelly and Sarah MacDougall

Shred Kelly brings the bands awesome blend of folk, ragged roots, rock and 80s synth sounds (honest!) to Cafe Dekuf on Tuesday, February 17th. This will be a blast! Sage McBride sings and plays keyboards and fills us in on the new album "Sing To The Night." Sarah MacDougall has released a new 8-track album called Grand Canyon. It's an intriguing blend of folk and pop influences and very creative lyric writing. She was scheduled to be at the NAC on the 14th of Feb. but that has chenged. She will now be at the NAC on March 13th opening for the Once. We talk about why she wants to be Robocop (honest) and some of the ideas behind other songs on this beautiful album. Finally, Jay Malinowski didn't make his call (miscommunication on our end... sorry) but he's still coming to town on the 14th at Domion Chalmers Church as part of the Winter Jazz Festival. Get out and see some live music this week!
