Mark Valcour made a huge contribution to CKCU-FM during his many years at the station, both as a volunteer and a staff member. Over the past thirty years, Mark taught radio production to countless students at Carleton's School of Journalism and Algonquin College's radio course; did live sound for concerts and festivals; and of course produced his show, "Live Revolutions" for CKCU-FM. Mark's contribution to CKCU was enormous. He was a great friend to many, and I count myself lucky to be among them. Mark passed away over the weekend at his home. He will be deeply missed.

Thank you very much or the heartfelt, beautiful tribute today Janis. And also to multiple others also paying respects. Although I never had the pleasure to meet Mark, I know his loss deeply affects many at the station and surrounding communities on a personal level. Hang in there. Peace.
