Hey Ry', all. Listening in as backdround to making coffee, a relatively fancy breakfast with backed eggs. A day of cooking today -- giant batch of either pasta sauce or chill -- not decided which yet. Maybe make pesto from our backyard-fresh basil farm. Whatever it is, it will go with farm-fresh corn from Parkdale market. MAN! Love this part of the season food-wise!

Must tell you the story, though. Sent email to Mike Regenstreif when Sixto died, suggesting good thème for Stranger Songs. Then, 1 hour later, Robbie Robertson died. Felt uncomfortable. But Mike still appreciated it. P.S. Clarence Avant, who discovered and produced Rodriguez also died this week! Unbleievable, the losses thèse past few weeks! Hope Dylan is in good shape

Too late for HB! Gone. But there is always coffee. And an open door to all worthy hobos fully in effect at all times here! q;^) There will likely be some red wine involved in the cooking ... and any left, well..... Stacking onions and market-fresh garlic as we type. It shall be pasta sauce. (Imortal words of our younger when about 5-6 "more garlic dad, just more garlic")
