In the tonight program I talked to Leocadio Juracan, vice president of the Campesino Commitee of the Highlands (CCDA in Spanish) in Guatemala. Leocadio visited Canada in the last two weeks to talk about Fair Trade coffe, Human Rights,and the pursue of the indigenous peoples for a better life,social justice and dignity. We also learned about the contributions as well the compromise of the campesino-indigenous people in their relation with respect and care of the environment.
