#1 - NOTICE FOR OTTAWA SIKH SOCIETY GENERAL BODY MEETING Ottawa Sikh Society (OSS) General Body meeting will be held on May 27th, 2018 at Gurdwara Sahib from 2pm to 4:30pm. All OSS members with valid membership 60 days prior to the meeting date are requested to attend. The Agenda will be as follows: 1. Agenda Approval 2. Minutes of Previous GB meeting 3. House at 66 Rideau Heights Drive is not in a livable condition.. It has been vacated. We need approval for the following: 1. Get the zoning changed to Institutional. 2. Demolish the house 3. Put a fence to close the entrance from Rideau Heights. 4. President’s Report 5. Treasurer’s Report 6. Punjabi School Report Any other business—please call the OSS at 225 1281 for more information. #2 - STROLL FOR LIVER 2018 Stroll for liver fundraiser in memory of Trisha Nagpal is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Vincent Massey Park, Heron Road, Ottawa, Section E from 10 AM to 1 PM for a fun day for the whole family. Registration is at 10:30 AM followed by Stroll at 11:30 AM. You will enjoy professional warm up before the walk and Liver-Healthy lunch, courtesy of Nutrafarms after the walk while helping us bring liver research,education,early detection and awareness to life in support of the millions of Canadians affected by liver disease.
