Very nice … you took my head back to the weekend of the reunion. They threw this thing together overnight, knowing that and to listen to the precision on the tracks is mind boggling. These guys all kept up with each other over 30++ years but rarely interacted and then overnight … BAM … there they are on stage with fans coming out of the woodwork, they could have filled the Ridglea Theatre two more times over. Just being their and included in the VIP ring was surreal for me, a much added bonus for me was another guest , the VIP of VIP's Mr Merlin Littlefield , once an executive with ASCAP, who was one of the early on executives in the industry much responsible for launching Bloodrock on Capitol Records. I spent a lot of time chatting with him , his mind was totally blown watching Bloodrock warm up we had a pre-concert, concert, it was awesome. I would look over at Merlin and he was struck, I could tell his mind was totally on stage with those guys, or sitting in the studio 35 years prior. I think I even caught a tear or two leaking out. I doubt if anyone knew them better as that group of young guys in the early 70's called Bloodrock. He was amazed at the precision , he commented that it was exactly the way it was presented way back in the beginning. He would kind of wave and hold his hands out from time to time with these questing, commenting, expressive looks as if to say , oh my god … you guys are amazing, where have you been, how can you still be this good ?!!!? He made some comments in conversations about how the industry let them down or perhaps the industry let them, let themselves down. That they should have been, could have been one of the supergroups that they were in the right company and running with the big dogs, they were there on the threshold of no looking back greatness. Also in attendance was Jack Calmes, founder of Showco Productions, his high school band included Steve Miller and Boz Skaggs. Already an impressive guy , right ? Well he brought along his famous lineup , "The Foreve

too bad that there was a word limit, I didn't know …. I rambled on for a while about too many details from minds eye of that weekend and the lineups that filled the stage that night. It was a great segment , I may stop back by with other comments later on. But I'll share the segment with some others that will appreciate it.
