My favourite song covers pt. 2!

A fan favourite on "Daydream Frequencies" is returning this week... that's right, the second instalment of the show's "my favourite song covers" broadcast is officially coming to you live! So many of you enjoyed the first show I did earlier this summer, and I promised I'd bring it back again at some point. A lot of my fave songs from the past on this playlist, Audrey., including an all time classic for me, "Baby It's You". And I'm with you about the Carpenters. BTW it was great to catch up with you at Taste of Wellington; made my day !

I think it would be worth noting that the song Superstar was written by Delaney and Bonnie with help from Rita Coolidge and originally released in 1969 under the song title Groupie.

@Neil: great seeing you too last weekend! It was nice to also do some dog watching in the parking lot we were at :)

@Draco: you're right, I did forget to mention that! Most people often associate Superstar with the Carpenters because their cover was more popular. Tennis actually released their cover because they were so inspired by Karen's performance, but the original version needs more recognition for sure!!
