Last days of a golden summer + Mariangela Celeste

I am back LIVE in the studio for today now that radio camp has officially wrapped up! Thank you to everyone who tuned in to the weekly kids shows. I had a lot of fun putting the shows together with all the campers, which were definitely more chaotic and hilarious compared to mine ;) Today's show title is inspired by the opening monologue from one of my favourite childhood movies "Pooh's Grand Adventure." It is one of my ultimate comfort films and whenever a new school year begins to draw near, I always remember this one quote and moment from the film. It's also in my opinion the best film in the Winnie the Pooh cinematic universe. The throwback spotlight artist for this week is Mariangela Celeste, a Greek singer-songwriter who released a beautiful debut album back in 1975 that was produced and arranged by Vangelis, a Greek composer who was well known for his experimental ambient and classical pieces. The album was unfortunately not promoted very well by their record company at the time, leading to poor sales. This is another hidden gem album that I found on the depths of the internet one day and really wanted to share with you all, so I hope you enjoy! °❀.ೃ࿔*
