Songs filled with spring serotonin + Mary Hopkin
Despite having gorgeous spring weather the last week, Ottawa has fallen back in a chilly slump :(
But don't worry! I'm here to bring back some of that spring serotonin with some feel-good indie folk and indie pop tunes to get you in the spirit. Here's hoping that the sunny weather makes a prompt return.
The spotlight artist for this week is Welsh folk-pop artist Mary Hopkin, and you may be familiar with her already as she had quite a few hits back in the late 60s and early 70s. Her songs are perfect for getting out of a cold weather slump. When the sunny weather comes back, be sure to go out and smell the roses (or whatever tulips from the tulip festival are left... 🌷)

Great spring show! Always thought "Those Were the Days" sounds like a slow polka. :-0
