This episode captures a picture of the eclectic jazz scene in Ottawa through the lens of the most in-demand double bass player in the city, Chris Pond. Chris has his hands deep in various creative projects, ranging from his Art Pop project, Amateur Painter, the Spiritual Jazz group, Atlantis Jazz Ensemble, to his Contemporary Jazz group, Primary Colours. Violinist Erik Johnson and Chris play a fully improvised performance for this episode, to demonstrate the more experimental side of Ottawa's jazz scene. Take a trip!
