Eleven elementary school students associated with the Rockcliffe Park branch of the Ottawa Public Library deliver reviews of books they love. The podcast club was organized by Martha Hodgson and Suzanne White from the library, with support from Nathanael Newton and Chris White from CKCU FM.

CKCU Radio Camp provides 10- to 14-year olds the opportunity to be part of a team that plans and presents audio segments that include radio plays, interviews, music and ads. CKCU has been offering this unique and enjoyable experience since 2001. The camps take place at the radio station on the Carleton University campus for a week at a time in July and August.
