As Joel Plaskett lamented in his song “Work Out Fine”...All my friends, where did they go? To Montreal, Toronto”. The scene that had exploded throughout the east coast and made little bands across Canada believe they could be the next signed indie band, was done. And with that demise came the Halifax sequel…the breakups…and the new bands. It is in that shadow that The Flashing Lights emerge.
