Symbiosis vs. Toxic Self-Sufficiency

Carolyn Gage is a prolific lesbian playwright, performer, and director, and a partly-comic and partly-serious preacher. Her works can be found at CarolynGage,com Gage's Sermon on Toxic Self-Sufficiency draws on the work of the late American evolutionary biologist Lynn Margulis, known as the primary modern proponent for the significance of symbiosis (as opposed to competition) in evolution. Margulis was an advisor to NASA. Her books include the title Symbiotic Planet.
