Saw Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee live twice and they were amazing !! My most memorable harmonica memory, however, is James Cotton who I saw live 4 times, the most memorable of which was at the Le Hibou on Sussex St. Half way through the 2nd set, he began a smokin' blues tune and while wailing away he walked through the audience and out the door onto Sussex playing on the longest mic cord I have ever seen, and went down Sussex toward Rideau St for about a block and a bit just a wailing on that harmonica !!!!!! And then played all the way back to the club and up on the stage area for the end of his number.

Thanks again for the Paul Butterfield, Mike. The only chance I ever had to see him, he had to cancel the show. Alas, "the one that got away" Awesome players in today's playlist, every last one of them. Crazy good show !!
