The Musical Adventures of Jim, Geoff & Maria

"The Musical Adventures of Jim, Geoff & Maria" is the theme for this edition of Stranger Songs. Geoff Muldaur and Maria Muldaur were both members of Jim Kweskin’s Jug Band in the 1960s – the pre-eminent jug band of the ‘60s folk revival – and this show will explore a few of the many directions that Jim, Geoff and Maria have taken over the past 60-plus years – including numerous collaborations with each other. The photo of Maria Muldaur, Geoff Muldaur and Jim Kweskin was taken at the 1964 Newport Folk Festival by Joe Alper. Click on LISTEN NOW to hear this show. This promises to be a great show, Mike. Anytime I see Paul Butterfield come up on a playlist it is a "beautiful day in the neighbourhood". !!! Hope you had a nice Easter.

I think that was the most beautiful version of Georgia On My Mind I've ever heard.

This show was tons of fun. Some of it really took me back and I was glad to Jim, Geoff and Maria sounding as good (or even better) now than back in the day.

I left out a word in my previous message. I meant to say I was glad to hear Jim, Geoff and Maria sounding as good (or even better) now than back in the day.
