The theme on this edition of Stranger Songs is Disney Songs. The theme was inspired by Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, and other Florida Republicans, who picked a fight with Disney because Disney ultimately stood up for the LGBTQ+ community in the wake of Florida’s so-called Don’t Say Gay law.

This is a very cool show. The old Disney films produced many wonderful songs. Just look at how many of them became jazz standards. Congratulations on realizing you could use these songs to make a coherent political statement.
