Those are questions every creative has asked themselves on the journey to make art their life’s work. We here at Music.Art.Ppl are dedicated to helping young artists gain a foothold in the market and learn valuable skills to help them succeed.
Music.Art.Ppl presents an Emerging Artists Workshop. Learn concrete skills on how to better yourself as an artist and creator. Hear from professionals and fellow artists about their journey and gain invaluable skills as you grow your creative platforms. This one day immersive workshop is geared to all kinds of creators and artists: musicians, artists, writers, DJs, podcasters, digital artists, actors, poets, etc. If you create and want to learn how to better your brand, your art and your skills, this workshop is for you. Join us at The Mauril-Bélanger Social Innovation Workshop (The Atelier) at St. Paul’s University on Saturday October 14th starting at 1030am for a day of workshops, networking and bettering your creative brand. Bonus, everyone in attendance will have the chance to get a professional headshot done by our photographer. Our day will consist of four distinct workshops which will help you on your creative journey. *Learn about the art of public speaking, how to build your professional brand, marketing and social media skills, artists management and representations, applying for artist grants, running your own events and festivals and succeeding in the world of art and business. *More information on workshops coming soon. A catered lunch will be provided for all ticket holders. The event will run from 1030am to 430pm with networking breaks throughout.
