Love this happy tune—Tuesday On The Rocks! No-one behind the mic at CKCU is a ‘dork’ as stated by the ad played just before Bedtime Stories. If being a ‘dork’ is a being a hard-working, community-minded volunteer, then I want to be part of the Dork’s Club!

Not sure if this one’s on the list….an old song I hadn’t thought about in years….”Sun Comes Up It’s Tuesday Morning” by The Cowboy Junkies.

Great minds think alike! Love this song from way back in 1988.

Oh yes, 1990 for the Cowboy Junkies I’m always out by two years since COVID! That’s what happens when you lose two years.

Oh, love S.T.P. Quite a departure from the Cowboy Junkies. Love the variety of music on Bedtime Stories.

Weren’t these long tracks called Bathroom Songs in radio parlance? An opportunity for the host to skip out to the loo? You can really hear ‘Free’ as this song begins.

Wow, this song reminds me a time shortly when we got out of that lockdown. I was walking down Elgin Street on a warm, sunny Friday afternoon. Out from a restaurant doorway i heard that unmistakable guitar solo in “All Right Now.” That was a VERY happy moment indeed.

Same guitarist, and quite possibly the same guitar, Shelley.

AKA Frank
Tuning in On Demand... a pleasant soundtrack to doing chores... not sure which is worse, mundane housework or Vanilla Fudge's abomination of one of my all-time favourite Stones tunes... actually, the latter is the clear winner... (insert emoji)

great to hear Andy White, a 90s talent worthy of more note, then and now...

Love the Paul Kossoff track... an even longer, arguably better tune of his is "Time Spent (Time Away)", an 18-minute jam with the (similarly) late/great guitarist John Martyn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtHJfOXRjFQ

Play "Free Bird"! I mean play "Tuesday's Gone with the Wind, noting that last week's episode included Hank W|illiams Jr.'s decent version.

At least the Hank W Jnr cover managed to avoid AKA Frank's dreaded "Abomination Of The Week Award", Steve. * There's countless covers of Ruby Tuesday, but most stick too closely to the original to offer much interest. The Vanilla Fudge version divides opinion, my own being that it might've worked better if they'd released it as an instrumental.
