We can thank one of my spin bike instructors, Bill, for introducing me to Brooklyn Funk Essential. A spinning class is an exercise class that takes place on stationary or ‘spin’ bikes. The instructor chooses the music for the classes. I got to hear a lot of music in spinning classes that I might have missed.
