The Cambridge Connection (Volume 2)

Tonight's edition features tunes having a connection with the famous university city of Cambridge. Although Pink Floyd originate from there, you won't hear any of their originals; instead we'll play some interesting covers and a tune that samples their work. You'll hear artists from Ottawa, Winnipeg, Kingston, Kelowna and Jonquiere, plus Lausanne, Rio and 2 from Cambridge itself.

Good evening everyone Back in 2022, whilst sitting in on the Plunderphonics programme for a while, I presented a show called "The Cambridge Connection." There was a mixture of songs that sampled PInk Floyd tunes, plus a handful of covers, as well as a few artists with a connection to Cambridge or its folk festival. This evening's show follows along similar lines, but with just the one tune that samples Pink Floyd, and which is also one of the 3 pieces that feature in both editions. Thanks for tuning in :-)

Thanks Shelley, although maybe some will go down better than others. But that's often the case with covers generally - sometimes a cover doesn't quite come off somehow
