I don’t think my neighbours would appreciate me parading around here in a fancy costume (smile). This show is perfect for this time of year. In Ottawa growing up, the Central Canada Exhibition or ‘the Ex’ as we called it rolled into town—to us kids, it was always Summer’s bittersweet last hurrah!

Actually, I recognized the tune of that Tori Amos song right away. My mother loves that song—the words are similar—she would sing it as “A Day In The Life Of A Fool…..”. Maybe it’s the same song with different variations. Now I’m singing along with Natalie Merchant. And RIP Robbie Robertson.

A bit late off the mark but listening On Demand... enjoying (goes without saying, without in any way implying that complacently), but also interesting to see hillbilly's comments... my father was in the UAW and the Toronto Labour Day Parade on the last day of The Ex (C.N.E.) was something I participated in at least once...
