Bedtime Stories
Tuesday September 7th, 2021 with Chris Lyne
Beyond The Pond And Back Again

This evening's edition of Bedtime Stories is a repeat of a show first broadcast in early September 2020. The programme was originally used to a fill a gap in the CKCU schedule, but it also fits the "Bedtime Stories" show profile, too, as you'll hear. *Unfortunately I will probably be unable to present new editions of Bedtime Stories for a few months, but I look forward to being back here again as soon as I can. In the meantime, my old friend Steve Kirkland will be sitting in for me, continuing the Bedtime Stories tradition of playing great music covering all kinds of ideas, topics and themes.

Hi everyone, Sorry I can't join you this evening. I'd normally be adding the tracks live as they play, and chatting with you here. But at the moment I'm having to hit the hay early in prep for several weeks of medical treatment starting very soon. Thanks for listening; enjoy the show ! Chris

Boo-gee woo-gee haha. I remember hearing that song a long, long time ago. Off-beat ride—a description of my commute now that I’m back in the office three days a week. Really enjoying the music—again.

Thanks. For the shout out. Yes the Hannigans are incredibly talented. I’m going to get off this iPad now, and just listen to the rest of the show.
