This week, long-time vegan activist Ronnie Lee returns to the show to speak about the history of the vegan animal liberation movement, and he shares his views on consumerism and the concept of vegan "journeys".

This week, I am pleased to present an excerpt from my second interview with the vegan animal liberation activist Ronnie Lee. Ronnie Lee is best known for being one of the founders of the Animal Liberation Front, which began in the 1970s. Currently he works to educate the public about the importance of becoming vegan. He has been a vegan now for more than half a century. This interview was first published in 2022; however, this is the first time we’ll be hearing this excerpt on the airwaves. In this discussion, Ronnie reflects on how the vegan animal liberation movement has evolved over the years, and he describes the impact that social media has had on the movement.
