Awww, Adriana! I'm shocked and saddened to hear Hexon Bogon will be wrapping up. Having tuned in almost every week, I will truly miss the program. Your selections and interviews have been amazing, I've discovered _so_ much new music. Hexon has been a wonderful transition (and fit) for this time slot after the many years of FMC; those were some big shoes to fill, and you have done so perfectly. Such breadth and insight, locally and globally. Wow! Thank you! And all my very best wishes!

jackc, I'm sorry it was a shock and I'm sorry that it has saddened you. I didn't want that AT ALL! I truly have enjoyed sharing my love of music and interviews with bands. When I approached our program manager Dave about moving time slots, I had debated it with myself for a while as I didn't want to offend John! FMC was definitely a staple at CKCU for so long. Thank you so much for your words. I hope you'll follow Ottawa Experimental Music over on Facebook. I'll continue sharing music and interviews there.

Hi Regis, In the past, we've had many a discussion about this very thing but in the end it was always, no way, the show must go on. This time, it's on doctor's orders and I have to listen. It doesn't mean forever, just for now. I'm bummed too.

hb, I concur! I could be wrong, but I think this was a cover that the band played at their concerts and it was supposed to be on their Black album but wasn't added. If that's the case, Gord would have heard it. I hope that's the case. Nothing more incredible for an artist than to have a band cover a tune you wrote and cover it so well.
